Rather than do a gift exchange at the annual Christmas party, City of Enderby Staff and Council decided to give something back. Staff and Council continued the tradition of donating food to the Enderby & District Community Resource Centre‘s Pantry Program. The program provides food to people in need in Enderby. On December 16, Mayor and Council presented the donation of goods to the Executive Director for the Community Resource Centre, Kara Wilhelms.
On behalf of Mayor, Council, and Staff, have a safe and happy holiday season!
To donate to the Pantry Program, please drop off non-perishable food items or monetary donations to the Resource Centre located 1110 Belvedere Street (below the Saint Andrews United Church) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9am and 4pm. Items in high demand include coffee, peanut butter, cereal, evaporated milk, toilet paper, and personal hygiene products. Please be advised that home canning is not accepted. If you have any questions regarding the Pantry Program please contact Kara Wilhelms at 250-838-9446.
