Enderby City Council, Community Futures North Okanagan and the Enderby & District Chamber of Commerce will once again be hosting a local Business Walk to meet with businesses and gain first-hand perspective on how the local economy is evolving. The Business Walk will take place on Friday October 25, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
“We are excited to connect with our local business community again this year. Business Walks are a great way to connect one-on-one with businesses to gain a deeper understanding of their needs and priorities,” explains Mayor Huck Galbraith. “We are so lucky to have such a diverse, engaged and innovative business community and its important that we help to connect them with the supports and services that are offered locally.”
Business Walks are intended to provide elected officials and business support organizations an opportunity to listen to the business community and identify common themes. Business owners will be asked a set of questions which will give information about the local economy, how it is changing, and opportunities to grow.
“This Business Walk is a great opportunity to strengthen connections and foster collaboration to support continued growth in Enderby’s vibrant entrepreneurial community,” notes Erin Jones, Business Advisor with Community Futures North Okanagan.
