The City of Enderby is excited to host an Easter Celebration in Barnes Park on April 9, 2023 from 11 am to 2 pm!
This event is jam packed with activities, entertainment, food and prizes, including:
- Easter Egg Hunt hosted by REMAX North Valley, starting at 12:00 pm.
- There will be two separate courses, one for children under the age of 6 and one for children ages 6-12. Each course will have a golden egg and the child who finds it will win a chocolate bunny/Easter basket made by Cottons Chocolates and sponsored by Revolution RV!
- All children over the age of 12 who attend will be entered into a draw for a 3.5 kg chocolate bunny made by Cottons Chocolates valued at $275 and sponsored by Revolution RV!
- Easter Egg Decorating Station, hosted by SASCU Enderby.
- Kiki the Eco Elf to perform and face paint, courtesy of the Enderby & District Arts Council.
- Build Your Own Easter Basket Station, hosted by Quilakwa RV Park.
- Pictures with the Easter Bunny Booth and an Easter Blessing Card Making Station, hosted by the Enderby Legion with help from Johnston Meier Insurance, Mountainview Electric, and Curious Cards Studio.
- Traditional Easter Games including carrot toss, potato sack races, and Easter egg spoon races, hosted by Transition Marketing Services.
- Glitter Tattoo Station, hosted by Party Life.
- AL Fortune Drum Line to provide demo performances and host a 50/50 raffle to help raise money for Provincials.
- White Easter Lillies to be given to mothers, courtesy of Wildflowers Design.
- Tons of yummy food including an Easter cake from Askew’s, hot cross buns from IGA, Puccia sandwiches from Mel’s Pizza, popcorn and snow cones from Party Life, and cotton candy, ice tea and hot dogs from the Enderby Legion. The Small Axe Road House is offering free cookies for kids all day at the restaurant and providing an Easter treat for every order off of the Kids Menu.
- Fire Truck Tours hosted by the Enderby & District Volunteer Fire Department.
- RCMP car on display with giveaways for children.
- Free draws for tons of great prizes, including:
- A Chocolate Party by Cottons Chocolates for 7 kids, valued at over $500, donated by Central Hardware.
- An automotive themed gift basket, valued at approximately $1,000, courtesy of Can Health and Dental Plans, the Enderby Inn/Bull Pen, Fortunes Landing, Williamson Automotive, Lordco, Gilbert Parts Depot, Kal Tire, Autowear Accessories, Enderby Rentals, Canadian 4×4 Auto Repair, and Enderby Imports.
- Gift baskets donated by The Hour Glass Antiques & Things, Quilakwa RV Park, Waterside Vineyard and Winery, Enderby Inn/Bull Penn, Rossworn Henderson LLP, Bank of Montreal, Guardian Pharmacy, Valley Mercantile, Splatsin Tsm7aksaltn (Splatsin Teaching Centre) Society, Soapolallie Soapworks, The Rusty Spur Tack & Feed, Enderby Autobody, Kiwis Powersports & Marine, Cheeky Tones, and Rainfresh Health Collective.
