The City of Enderby is challenging its residents to join it in the 1st Annual Clean-Up Challenge. Enderby residents can show their civic pride by helping to clean-up and beautify areas throughout the community. Participants will meet at 9:45 am on April 2 in the City Hall parking lot. The Clean-Up Challenge will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Clean-Up event will be followed by an Appreciation Barbeque at 1:30 pm in Belvidere Park. Participants will be provided with food and refreshments to celebrate their contribution.
This is truly a community event with both MV Beattie Elementary School and AL Fortune Secondary School taking part in the Clean-up Challenge during the previous week. Participants are encouraged to take photos and utilize social media, such as the Our Enderby Facebook page or the twitter tag #EnderbyCleanUp, to showcase how they are strengthening Enderby as a clean and beautiful community.
“The City has a variety of initiatives underway to beautify our community. We want all of our residents to join us in this great event and help make Enderby the moost clean, attractive community it can be,” explains City Councillor Greg McCune.
Whether you bring yourself or gather a team, the City of Enderby is challenging YOU to help take part in the 1st Annual Our Enderby Clean-Up Challenge. For any questions or inquiries, please contact Greg g McCune 250-550-5930.
