New water safety features are now available at two of parks inside the City of Enderby.
At Tuey Park, 2 life rings have been added to aid in river rescues.
At Belvedere Park, a kids’ lifejacket/PFD kiosk has been added – just in case you forgot a life jacket for your little one at home. Use of lifejackets is free – pick up at the Belvedere Park kiosk and drop off at either the same Belvedere Park kiosk or the Tuey Park kiosk, and our wonderful River Ambassadors will transport them back to Belvedere Park for use by another person.
Proudly sponsored by the City of Enderby, Enderby & District Recreation Services, and the ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge, with support from the Shuswap Lifeboat Society and Royal Canadian Marine Search & Rescue 106 (Shuswap)!
Remember to stay safe on the river. Always check the Shuswap River Ambassadors’ Facebook page for the latest information.
