Notice of Public Hearing – Joint Official Community Plan Amendment and Rezoning Application – 1605 George Street, Enderby BC

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 466 of the Local Government Act, a series of Public Hearings will be held on Monday November 4, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. to hear representations on the following matter:

CITY OF ENDERBY OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAW NO. 1549, 2014 AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 1800, 2024 AND CITY OF ENDERBY ZONING BYLAW NO. 1550, 2014 AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 1801, 2024

Bylaw No. 1800, 2024 proposes to amend the City of Enderby Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1549, 2014 to change the future land use designations of the property legally described as LOT 4 DISTRICT LOT 150 KAMLOOPS (FORMERLY OSOYOOS) DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 12563, and located at 1605 George Street, Enderby BC, from Residential Medium Density to Highway and Tourist Commercial.

Bylaw No. 1801, 2024 proposes to rezone the property legally described as LOT 4 DISTRICT LOT 150 KAMLOOPS (FORMERLY OSOYOOS) DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 12563, and located at 1605 George Street, Enderby BC, from the Residential Single Family (R.1-A) zone to the Highway and Tourist Commercial (C.2) zone.

All persons who consider they are affected by the above Bylaws will be provided an opportunity to make representation to Council by attending the Public Hearing or by delivering a written submission to the Corporate Officer by 3:00 pm on November 4, 2024 (drop off: City Hall, 619 Cliff Avenue; mail – PO Box 400, Enderby BC, V0E 1V0; email – info@cityofenderby.com).  Should you wish to attend the Public Hearing electronically, please refer to the agenda package for the Council meeting of November 4, 2024 for instructions.  Copies of the proposed Bylaw may be inspected at the office of the City of Enderby, 619 Cliff Avenue, Enderby, B.C. until November 4, 2024, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, and will be posted to:
