Pursuant to the provisions of Section 466 of the Local Government Act, a Public Hearing will be held on Monday November 6, 2023 at 4:30 p.m. to hear representations on the following matter:
CITY OF ENDERBY ZONING BYLAW NO. 1550, 2014 AMENDMENT BYLAW NO. 1780, 2023
This Bylaw proposes to amend the City of Enderby Zoning Bylaw No. 1550, 2014 as follows:
- Protect commercial parking inventory within the Downtown Designated Parking Area from unmanaged reductions by removing ambiguous language involving a property owner contributing to a parking reserve fund rather than providing off-site parking when there is a change in use or density;
- Amending shipping container provisions so that the Zoning Bylaw only deals with land use regulations, with health and safety matters addressed through a separate policy and more suitable enforcement authority; and
- Minor housekeeping amendments.
All persons who consider they are affected by this Bylaw will be provided an opportunity to make representation to Council by attending the Public Hearing electronically or by delivering a written submission to the Corporate Officer by 3:00 pm on November 6, 2023 (drop off: City Hall, 619 Cliff Avenue; mail – PO Box 400, Enderby BC, V0E 1V0; email – info@cityofenderby.com). Should you wish to attend the Public Hearing electronically, please refer to the agenda package for the Council meeting of November 6, 2023 for instructions. Copies of the proposed Bylaw may be inspected at the office of the City of Enderby, 619 Cliff Avenue, Enderby, B.C. until November 6, 2023, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., excluding 12:30 to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding statutory holidays, and will be posted to:
