As of today. June 15, 2022, at the upstream hydrometric gauge, the Shuswap River water height is 4.73 m (15.52 feet) with a discharge rate of 440 m3/s. In comparison, yesterday, June 14, 2022, the Shuswap River water height was 4.66 m (15.35 feet) with a discharge rate of 428 m3/s
Light rains are forecast for this evening and into tomorrow, with the risk of a thunderstorm tomorrow afternoon.
Forecast models are predicting a initial peak of the Shuswap River discharge rate to occur on Thursday June 16, 2022, with a peak discharge rate of 453.0 m3 /s. The forecast is subject to change based on weather variables that may change the anticipated timing, intensity, duration, or location of precipitation, which may have a downstream impact.
