The City of Enderby Emergency Operations Centre is monitoring and responding to localized flood conditions and encourages residents who may live in flood-prone areas to take measures to protect their property.
Closures remain in effect for the Kildonan Boat Launch and Tuey Park.
As of June 16, 2022, at the upstream hydrometric gauge, the Shuswap River water height is 4.80 m (15.75 feet) with a discharge rate of 455 m3/s. In comparison, yesterday, June 15, 2022, the Shuswap River water height was 4.73 m (15.52 feet) with a discharge rate of 440 m3/s
Steady rains are forecast throughout the day which lighten into the evening, with dry, overcast conditions forecast for Friday and heavier precipitation expected on Saturday.
Forecast models are predicting an initial peak of the Shuswap River discharge rate to occur on Friday June 17, 2022, with a discharge rate of 461.2 m3 /s.
